Job Summary




  • The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations.

  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, manage water treatment plants, electrical lift stations, and provide expert guidance on transformers, generators, and other critical infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities




  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems including HVAC, pumps, compressors, generators, and other critical equipment.

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems including power distribution, wiring, control panels, and automation systems.

  • Read, interpret, and act on electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

  • Manage and maintain water treatment plants, electrical lift stations, and other critical hospital systems.

  • Advise on the installation, operation, and maintenance of transformers, generators, and other high-capacity electrical equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Respond promptly to equipment failures or system malfunctions to minimize operational downtime.

  • Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation for all maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all systems comply with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and hospital protocols.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and technical teams for specialized repairs or upgrades.

  • Support training of staff on safe and proper use of mechanical and electrical equipment.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical system maintenance, preferably in healthcare, industrial, or large facility settings.

  • Proven experience interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams.

  • Knowledge of water treatment systems, lift stations, generators, transformers, and electromechanical infrastructure.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in mechanical and electrical operations.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple systems, and respond effectively to emergencies.
